Picnic Fun for the entire family! That's a Barbecue.
Whether it's tailgating or hosted in your own backyard. You can ready the BBQ tools, fire up the grill and make all of the fixings, such as potato salad, fresh fruit, and anything else your family enjoys.
You can even learn how to make barbecue sauce on your own, so you can have a healthy picnic that your entire family can enjoy.
It is very simple to make a basic recipe for barbecue sauce, since it only contains a few simple ingredients to make the basic sauce.
You will need:
Cider or white wine vinegar
Molasses
Ketchup
Mustard
Liquid smoke
and a wide variety of your favorite spices.
You start off the recipe by adding a quarter of a cup of vinegar and a third of a cup of molasses to a preheated sauce pan. You heat the two ingredients together until they are completely mixed, and then remove it from the heat. It is best to use a wire whisk to blend the two ingredients together, and you will want to make sure they are completely blended before removing them from the heat.
Once the pan is off the heat source, you can add in the additional ingredients. About a cup of ketchup is ideal, and you can add in about a tablespoon of the mustard, liquid smoke, and any other spices or herbs that you wish to add. The possibilities really are endless when it comes to the different spices you would like to add, and you can even have the children get in on the fun and create their own secret recipe. You can even try adding in fresh onion, garlic, honey, or brown sugar, or even hot sauce and peppers to make it a spicy sauce if you wish.
You can add anything from onion powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, or even chili powder to the mix, and they will all change the taste of your basic barbecue sauce to your own personal recipe. The next step is using the barbecue sauce on your favorite picnic foods, such as chicken, pork, or even steaks.
You can start off by marinating your meat in the barbecue sauce of you wish, since this will make sure the entire cut of meat is saturated with the sauce. You will, however, also need to apply the sauce to the meat while it is on the grill, to make sure it stays moist even during the cooking process. If you have a barbecue tool set, you should use the brush to apply the sauce on each side of the meat while it is on the grill. This will ensure that your meat will stay moist even while it’s cooking, so it will taste absolutely amazing once it’s ready to eat.
Learning how to make barbecue sauce is pretty simple, since it contains a few simple ingredients that can usually be found right in your kitchen. The hard part is deciding on which types of spices to add and how much of each, so you can create your own, personal, family recipe for delicious picnic barbecue sauce.
Learning how to make barbecue sauce for Picnic Fun or tailgating making use of your BBq tools from your barbecue tool set (or is that barbeque?)
